Running Puzzle Masters
A dynamic, team-based activity with a touch of pressure where students will have the opportunity to improve their team work, group problem solving, leadership, communication and social skills. Puzzle Masters challenges students to put into practice their critical and creative thinking skills through practical and physical problem solving. This is hands-on leadership, resilience and teamwork training, in a fun and fast-paced format.
In this activity teams go head-to-head in a race for the most points, gained by solving puzzles of varying difficulty on a customised tablet app, requiring strategy and communication to succeed. From the thinkers to the hands-on doers, there are puzzles to appeal to every kind of student.
With students working in teams of 3-5, this is great for upper primary and early high school groups (ages 10-14). Puzzle Masters can be run as:

Puzzle Masters presents learning in the guise of fun and completion. Anything that has 15 year old boys racing around trying to problem solve is a thoroughly worthwhile experience in my opinion.
Recommend without hesitation
I would recommend this experience without hesitation, everyone got really involved and the two hours went by really quickly. I really think that the group enjoyed working with people that they don’t normally get to work with. I would rate this 5 stars. It was a really great way for us to finish the term at St Peters.

I would definitely recommend this experience to other schools. The team were very efficient, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Their resources were highly effective, extremely well presented and professional. It was an opportunity for the students to explore their skills in terms of lateral thinking, problem solving and collaborating with one another and was great to see them actually having some fun as well. I’d rate this experience 5 stars.
