Copernicus challenge

Gamifying a festival

The first Create X festival in 2016 was based around showcasing technology, art and culture. The Copernicus Challenge brought a unique aspect to the festival as the game spanned the festival, taking players into spaces and places they may not have otherwise explored.

The Challenge: to create a game based expereince that showcased different areas of art and culture while directing players to spaces they may not have otherwise seen.

How it worked: Players were orientated to the game in a themed orientation tent. They chose their stream and entered the game through a particular doorway (literally). They then navigated their way to different parts of the festival where art and gaming collided in challenges and characters.

The result: The experience ran through the day, including groups of friends, parents, kids and solo players.

Quality Experiences

They have a very considered, sensitive and dedicated concern for quality experiences through their approach to design, consumer response and partner liaison. This is a very individual, personalised and character response that the team have presented and adopted from the outset.  The projects we have been part of have been of the highest quality, and under realistic constructions and commercial parameters, with realistic pressures and expectations
