Containment was a highly immersive, limited season offering that integrated live adventure gaming, immersive theatre, technology and world creation to create a high-fidelity entertainment experience. Containment’s premiere season spanned 4 floors of the Brisbane Powerhouse, ran for 10 show days between 18 – 29 October 2017 and drew 3,200 people.

Containment is centred in an apocalyptic thriller genre. The aim was to immerse players in a world right at the start of a zombie apocalypse in which they can explore, interact and influence outcomes. Success means saving the world. Failure means descent into global decline. Think first player video game meets immersive theatre meets massive set design.
